Dark Angels are like any other Space Marines. They fight for the Emperor against chaos. Chaos are twisted marines who are being controlled by the Evil Emperor. There was once an epic fight between the Emperor and his son (who is in fact the Evil Emperor) and it was told that hundreds of thousands of years ago the Emperor's son walked away from the palace and got lost in the Forbidden Land. And after a while chaos corrupted his mind and when he went back to the palace the Evil Emperor and his father had a fight and the Evil Emperor the Emperor's heart and slashed down to the hip. (That's where two hearts come in handy.)

omg...this is totally WRONG! Dark Angels are the space marines...its another name for them. CHAOS ISN'T JUST CHAOS MARINES!!! There's chaos spawn...cultists...dark eldar...and omg...u did not just say the evil emperor...THERE'S NO SUCH THING! Are u kidding me...they serve the chaos gods. There's no evil emperor. That whole legend with the Emperor and his son was very creative...but its not true...at all. its not even close to the truth dude. The actual legend is waaay to long to get into now but go look up...Horus Heresy ok? u'll learn all about it there. Space marines have two heart just because the emperor made it that way. So they can have a extra heart if the get shot or stabbed...
No reason to be so harsh, yes he's horabbly wrong about the chaos demon princes and there are more than just chaos marines, and Dark Angels is the first founded space marine chapter! That part I do take offence to as a DA player... check out and read the codex of each of the races and space marine chapter, and along with that the warhammer 40k omnibus of the space marines.
